Easter Celebrations filled us with joy!

Easter Celebrations filled us with joy!

Easter time is always a highlight on our calendar and our planned celebrations were a huge success.

Our Easter events included; our Easter Drinks Parties and special Easter menus. Not forgetting the Hot Cross Buns. Our entertainments program was jam-packed for those residents who choose to join in our games, reminiscence session, Quiz Time, Indoor Skittles, Quoits and discussion group.

When the sun shone we all enjoyed walks in the garden and found a sunny spot to have a rest and enjoy the sunshine. Our garden furniture has returned from its hibernation and is out on a daily basis when the weather allows.

Our residents received special Easter baskets and Easter eggs from the Anna Chaplaincy - such a lovely gesture!

Our dedicated staff team worked throughout the Easter weekend, and everyone had some time off to enjoy celebrations with their families.

Happy times, and a happy Easter was had by all!

Sunny days are again!

Sunny days are again!

The sun is shining and our gardens are looking beautiful.

A little bit of warmth and sunshine has motivated us all and it has been a relief to see the sunshine, at last.

The residents and their visitors have been enjoying sitting outside and garden walks have returned on a daily basis, for those residents who wish to go outside.

Some of our residents set themselves a daily walking schedule and count their laps around the garden. We have level pathways and benches dotted around for rest breaks.

Other residents are supported by staff, who help them outside to our patio areas where they can sit and watch the garden wildlife and enjoy our maturing garden planting and flowers.

Pimms on the Patio will be back soon, let’s hope it stays sunny!

We're loving the September sunshine!

We're loving the September sunshine!

Just when we thought Summer was over we have been blessed with these gorgeous hot sunny days - what a difference it makes!

Our Autumn program is up and running with lots of activities planned for the next few months. We will probably relocate to our beautiful gardens for some of our current events and find a shady spot and make the most of the outside.

Covid and seasonal flu jabs are planned to be administered later this month to protect our elderly residents this winter. We have stocked up on PPE, just in case!

We are celebrating lots of birthdays in September - cakes, drinks parties and the bunting is fluttering! Happy days with lots to look forward to!

What do our residents think?

What do our residents think?

Our residents are continually encouraged to have a voice and provide us with feedback about their life at Hampton House. Sometimes this is a friendly chat while we are caring for them, or a more regular planned meeting, to discuss their care needs.

There is always a friendly ear to listen to them and an active Manager to wave a magic wand.

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, known as the CQC, who regulate all care services throughout the UK. We provide the CQC with information to demonstrate we continually monitor our Quality Assurance, and we strive to maintain and improve the services we provide.

During September we carried out a survey with our residents. Questionnaires were circulated to enable the residents to provide answers and feedback in a formal way about their experiences living at Hampton House. We asked them if they are happy and contented with their surroundings, the care they receive, our catering and food, entertainments and the management of the home.

We have received valuable positive feedback and all the results have all been positive. We have acted on some new suggestions. We are always looking for ways to improve our care home.

Great we know our residents have felt involved and empowered by our survey experience.

Our Mission Statement
